Lionel Guérin ScienceOne
Lionel Guérin is an entrepreneur with a deep background in computer engineering and software development. He earned a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the Polytech Nice Sophia (the polytechnic engineering school of Université Côte d’Azur), France. His extensive professional experience spans over two decades, where he held senior roles in leading European software engineering companies such as ALTEN, OPEN Group, AKKA Group (acquired by Adecco), and Ausy Group (acquired by Randstad), from 1998 to 2021.
In 2021, he co-founded ScienceOne, where he serves as CEO. Under his leadership, ScienceOne has successfully acquired major clients, including INSERM (France’s top health research center), and international pharmaceutical companies such as MSD, AstraZeneca, and Sanofi. He is also an active member of major incubators like Future4Care (sponsored by Sanofi) and PariSanté Campus, a French government-backed initiative.
In 2022, he also launched ScienceLeadR, a groundbreaking open digital platform focused on medical experts and life sciences stakeholders. As of mid-2024, the platform had identified and ranked over 3.8 million experts globally, positioning it as a leading player in the life sciences ecosystem.
