I am Eva Adås, the Country Head Director of Global Clinical Operations at Johnson & Johnson, a position I have proudly held for the past seven years. In this role, I oversee clinical operations across the Nordic countries, ensuring that our clinical trials are conducted efficiently, ethically and with high quality.

Before joining Johnson & Johnson, I spent 20 years at Pfizer, where I held a variety of roles including Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Research Specialist, and Clinical Research Manager. My experience also included leadership roles in monitoring efforts and national quality initiatives focused on the Nordic/ Baltic market.

My career began as a hospital pharmacist in Uppsala, which equipped me with a strong foundation in medication management and patient care. I am passionate about advancing the field of clinical research and am currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Working Group for Clinical Trials underLäkemedelsindstiföreningen LIF ( EFPIA). In this capacity, I advocate for best practices and innovations in clinical trial methodologies.

Additionally, I am an active member of the Pharmacy Society ( Apoterkarsociteten) , an organization dedicated to promoting education and awareness about pharmaceuticals in Sweden. I am committed to enhancing the development and understanding of medicinal products.

I’m looking forward to sharing my insights and experiences during the conference, especially in the context of collaboration in clinical research to make the Nordics and Europe an attractive region.
