Viviënne van de Walle

PI / director, PTR

Viviënne van de Walle is a physician specialized in clinical research (registered certified clinical pharmacology and pharmaceutical specialist). She is the owner of VivHo, a life science consultancy company, and PT&R, an independent research center both in The Netherlands. She is also involved in various professional organizations in the field of clinical research, such as CISCRP, NVFG, ACRP and the SCRS. For all her work in the field of clinical research she was awarded the prestigious Christine K. Pierre Site Impact award in 2023 . She studied medicine at the University of Maastricht and the University of Oxford, and has a PhD in Auxology . She is a registered physician in both the Netherlands and Belgium passed the CPI exam and QM-IAOCR. As of 2025 she is appointed to serve on the Global Exam committee for the Certified Principal Investigator Program She has a special interest in implementing and streamlining eCOA and A.I. in clinical research . She is a mentor, speaker, leader and bridge builder always keeping the patient in focus. Known for some memorable quotes on the day-to-day challenges at a site like: “Get me out of this bad escaperoom”. She is passionate about sharing her 25+ years of experience and looking for creative solutions: “I love it when you pick my brain”.
