dr Lukasz Izbicki is a recognized expert in pharmaceutical information systems and patient engagement in clinical research. A pharmacist by training and a graduate of IESE Business School, he has over 20 years of experience in developing digital platforms at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and public communication.
He is the founder and CEO of ClinicalTrials.eu, a pioneering pan-European initiative aimed at transforming how patients access, understand, and participate in clinical trials. Under his leadership, the platform has grown into one of the most comprehensive, multilingual trial search engines in Europe with localized content and user-friendly design to support patient empowerment and cross-border recruitment.
Previously, he built and exited multiple ventures in the pharmaceutical and digital health sectors, including a successful acquisition by a NYSE-listed company. He is a frequent speaker on digital transformation in clinical research and an advocate for transparent, inclusive access to innovative therapies across Europe.
