More than 16 years’ experience as clinical assessor at the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS), contributing to the (clinical) development and regulatory approval of medicinal products for human use through active participation in working parties and committees within the European Union (EU) Regulatory Network. Extensive Health Authority experience and knowledge of the European regulatory system, including legislation, relevant (scientific) guidance and licensing registration procedures / regulatory pathways. Joined the Global Regulatory Policy & Intelligence team at MSD in June 2023. Since then, extensively involved in discussions around clinical trials regulation implementation issues and efforts to enhance EU competitiveness in clinical trials, including active external engagement.
