Garo Kiledjian SGM Alliance
Garo Kiledjian is the Founder, President, and CEO of SGM Alliance, a pioneering 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing Sexual and Gender Minority (SGM) inclusion in clinical research, life sciences, and the evolving healthcare ecosystem. His leadership is also reflected in his role as Chief Operating Officer for Trialogic, a Site Network supporting the largest global HIV healthcare provider.
Garo’s career trajectory was profoundly shaped by a personal experience that redefined his view on healthcare. The loss of a friend to AIDS marked a pivotal moment in his life. This significant personal impact deepened Garo’s understanding of the gaps in healthcare for marginalized communities and ignited his commitment to drive systemic change. The reflection and resolve from this experience instilled in him a lifelong mission to address disparities and advocate for equitable healthcare solutions.
His diverse background spans administration, research, pharmacy, operations, and finance, equipping him with a multifaceted skill set that enriches his leadership. Garo is an active member of the Membership Planning Committee for the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) and served on the Executive GALA Committee for the National LGBTQ Task Force from 2022-2024, a historic advocacy group focused on grassroots legislative and policy changes in Washington, DC.
Garo’s passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is rooted in a deep understanding of the intersections of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and studied Leadership and Global Strategy at Woodbury’s Graduate School of Business.
